The skin is the largest organ in the body. It is the first line of defense against bacteria and injury, and often reflects overall health.  Dermatology is an area of medicine concerned with the health of the skin and diseases of the hair, nails, and mucous membranes.  In General Dermatology visits or consultations, we encounter and treat conditions such as acne, psoriasis, warts, rashes,  pre-cancerous lesions, skin growths, lumps and bumps. These visits usually end in prescriptions for the best medications or in-office treatments.
