HOW MANY BOTOX® TREATMENTS WILL I NEED TO SEE RESULTS?
Most Botox® patients see visible wrinkle reduction within the first few days of their initial treatment but depending on the intensity of your wrinkles/lines, additional treatments may be necessary. Because the body eventually absorbs the injected material, repeat Botox® treatments are necessary every few months to maintain long-term wrinkle minimization.
WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR BOTOX® COSMETIC?
Any image-conscious man or woman who is concerned about the appearance of their wrinkles can consider treatment. BOTOX® Cosmetic can be used by people from age 18-65.
ARE BOTOX® COSMETIC TREATMENTS PAINFUL?
Discomfort is minimal and brief with Botox® injections. We may choose to use a local anesthetic cream or ice to minimize pain. Once the injections are complete, there is typically no discomfort.
WILL MY LINES LOOK WORSE IF I CHOOSE NOT TO CONTINUE BOTOX® COSMETIC TREATMENTS?
No. Your lines will gradually revert to their pre-treatment appearance if you decide to forego additional Botox® treatment.
